Task Force Panther is North Crowley High School's core of the school's Junior Reserve Office Training Corps. Starting in 2009 by the accordance of Sergeant First Class Gregory E. Peavy, the Task Force started out with 150+ assorted Cadets. Throughout the years, this number got smaller as the more elite and dedicated shined through and spun itself into a small, assorted team of dedicated and reinforced Cadets, who are prepared for anything and everything that could be handed to them. The Task Force is currently established of five teams, which are, Color Guard, Black Ops, Lady Souljaz, Academics, and the PT Team. The Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps is a program that teaches high school students the value of citizenship, leadership, service to the community, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment while instilling in them self-esteem, teamwork, and self discipline. The mission statement reflects the overall meaning and purpose of JROTC, which is “To Motivate Young People to Be Better Citizens” by preparing high school students for responsible leadership roles while making them aware of their rights, responsibilities, and privileges of American citizens.

North Crowley High School's own Panther Battalion began in 2007, with the first instructor being Sergeant First Class Gregory E. Peavy. The Battalion began with a total of 98 cadets within its first years, and over time has grown to be over 250+ cadets. The Panther Battalion has grown to be one of the largest battalions in Texas and has continued with that kind of success for many years. The Panther Battalion has been graded as an Honor Unit with Distinction since the 2012-2013 school year. The Panther Battalion initially began with only housing North Crowley High School, but now has grown to include all 9th and up campuses in Crowley, which included North Crowley, North Crowley 9th, Crowley, and Crowley 9th campuses. The battalion continues to grow and develop every year.
